Magnet systems are the most efficient solution for the lifting and transport of ferromagnetic loads. The lifting and release of the load is faster and safer than with conventional slinging methods. The large area of contact prevents damage. Other advantages are greater safety and the fact that the stores can be more densely loaded.

Starting with the smallest systems featuring tolerances in the range of one-hundredth of a millimeter, such as in the field of brake solenoids, we continue to the standard series of circular magnets and rectangular lifting magnets light, normal and heavy versions and special designs, which always require new structural solutions. Our constant quest for innovation is exemplified by the coil magnet we developed. It's able to carry up to 50 coils with horizontal and/or vertical coil axis. Another special solution is our newest development: a magnet made for "gentle" slab turning.
If our standard magnets don't provide the optimal fit for your configuration, we will make you a cost-free, non-binding proposal for magnet systems that are specifically designed to meet your needs. The items we supply cover magnets, custom-made power supplies (with emergency generation battery if required), cross beams conforming to the crane-handling standard, cable wheels, etc. In short, we offer a complete range of accessories needed to handle ferromagnetic loads safely, quickly and economically.

Round magnets for the movement of ferro-magnetic bulk materials
Round magnets are suitable for all high-volume, continuous applications for the movement of ferro-magnetic bulk materials, including steel scrap, pig iron, broken castings, turnings, offcuts, etc.
Our standard series and two high-performance series, as well as a series especially designed for mobile machines such as excavators, with different weights for equal diameters, ensure the flexibility needed to take advantage of any existing crane installation.
The magnet housing consists of sturdy steel castings with high magnetic conductivity, which are tailored for rough work in the heavy-metal industry. That way we ensure the highest quality while guaranteeing the maximum magnet life for our customers.
Our magnets for scrap handling are constructed for impact excitation. That means the magnetic field penetrates deep into the scrap, ensuring the uptake of the largest possible load. The shutdown of the magnet automatically activates counter-excitation. This guarantees a minimum excite and de-excite time for the magnet system.

Rectangular magnets for transport of slabs and beams
Rectangular magnets are useful for the transport of slabs, ingots, billets, plates, pipes, steel bars, beam profiles and structural steel.
These magnets can be adapted in response to structural conditions that meet the customer's existing configuration and requirements.
Magnets for hot transport with special isolation, double cover plates and even a water-cooled, wire-wound coil are all part of our scope of supply.

All welding at the magnets (i.e., the magnetic cross beams) is carried out by approved welders. To guarantee absolute safety (load handling attachment), we comply with the DIN 15 018 (crane-handling standard) and DIN 18 800 (highest verification of suitability for welding procedure). To guarantee absolute safety and quality, we have developed our own company standard.

In a bottleneck situation we're happy to lend you substitute magnets, as long as they fit into the existing configuration and if the right size is available.
We offer used lifting magnets as well. The core components of these magnets are new (.e.g., the coils) and we deliver them, like all Evertz magnets, with a two-year warranty.
